Clad Plates AO Energometall
The brand EnergoMetall was registered in 2003. The company was created as the means of implementation of the experience in the field of trading regular and special metal items gained by the co-founders.
Today our company is successful at supplying various stainless and alloyed metal items onto the market of food, construction, shipbuilding and petrochemical industry.
In 2005, EnergoMetall in co-operation with the research center Prometey and industrial giant Silovye Machiny, have developed and successfully implemented the technological process of explowelding for large size metal plates. In 2006, we have successfully obtained our first bimetal plate (Titanium + Stainless Steel) for the supply bidding at the Rostov Nuclear Power Plant. Also, we've developed the set of corresponding technical documentation and protocols.
That was the starting point for us when we've actually launched our own production of bimetal plates.
Since 2006, we obtain multiple explowelding orders and manufacture bimetal items for virtually any industrial purposes.
In November 2006, we've officially registered our operation in Finland, EnergoMetall OY. Later, in 2008, another company, EnergoMetall AVP OU, has been launched in Estonia with the purpose of providing a faster and better quality services for customers within the CIS and abroad.
In 2009, we've become a supplier of bimetal plates for the international nuclear power plant project, ITER.
In 2010, EnergoMetall was certified as a manufacturer of bimetal products, for ISO 9001, by the European Office of Bureau Veritas.
Since 2012, Energometall is also recognized by the Russian Maritime Register as a manufacturer of bimetal items for the shipbuilding industry.
In July 2013, another major success, the pilot plate САОЗ 90(84+6)х2750х10800мм (09Г2С-18 + AISI321). This implementation demonstrates the fact that the technology by EnergoMetall is also applicable to greater squares, even over 30 square meters, even though the actual limitations linked to the explosion force fall into the gap between 35 and 40 square meters.
Above all, EnergoMetall has manufactured a tubular plate forging of 30(25+5)х3400х3800мм (09Г2С-15 + ASTM B265 Gr.1), also with a 100% quality.
Currently we continue our research in the field of explosion welding of titanium plates and steels, as well as obtaining bimetal plates for alloys like B265 Gr.5 and steel upto 2500х2500 mm. Another thing is a 3-layer experimental plate of (30+1+5) х 500 х 2500 mm (09Г2С-13 + B265 Gr.1 + B265 Gr.5).
